Ohio’s buzzed about Breakaway Music Festival is back with a stacked urban-electro lineup. Dillon Francis, Young Thug, RL Grime and Rae Sremmurd will headline this midwest event that is sure to explode the internet.
Set for August 26-27, 2016 at the Ohio Expo Center, Breakaway took a break after its debut in 2013 but is back with a bang. The highly anticipated lineup is as follows, with an additional headliner still to be announced.
“We wanted the 2016 lineup to resonate with a wide audience while still connecting with our core Breakaway community,” said Adam Lynn, co-founder of Prime Social Group. “We’re confident the lineup does just that and are looking forward to celebrating our second year with music fans nationwide.”
Ohio will host the curated class of power players and Billboard chart-toppers, from platinum recording duo Rae Sremmurd, of “No Type” and “No Flex Zone” notoriety, and Dillon Francis who has cornered the moombahton market with his talents and his equally impressive Snapchat game. The all ages event now has advanced ticketing options
available for purchase here.
“This two-day festival allows us all to break away from the rigors of everyday responsibilities and enjoy an elevated experience with an expanded venue, VIP amenities and an incredible lineup,” said Zach Ruben, co-founder of Prime Social Group.
Taking a break from adulting to enjoy trap tracks and a filthy, yet freeing bass, from RL Grime or the perfectly playful summer sounds of Gryffin could be the best thing to happen to Ohio since Urban Meyer. Not to mention exceptional live performer Young Thug will be in the building for an extra slimy set.
