No Cheat Codes were needed in the rise to the top of 300 Entertainment’s roster.
All puns aside, LA-based Cheat Codes just closed a huge deal signing with 300 Entertainment within a family of talented few including Fetty Wap, Young Thug and Migos.
Kevi Ford, one-third of Cheat Codes said in an interview with Billboard:
“This is the next chapter of Cheat Codes. This is the future of our music. I’m excited to be partnering with people like Lyor, Roger, Pete, Todd, Kevin and the rest of the team at 300 who share the same vision and mindset as us, and who understand where the future of music and the business is going. I can’t wait for the fans to hear this new music we’ve been working so hard on.”While this is a huge move for Cheat Codes, its equally as beneficial to 300 Entertainment. Cheat Codes is one of the biggest independent and emerging artist groups in dance music. “Sex” and “Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)” are two recent singles that have put these guys on the map, making them a reoccurring Spotify Top 30 artist. And with “Sex” boasting over 300 million streams online, they show no signs of stopping.
In the same interview with Billboard, 300 Entertainment co-founder Roger Gold said the label admires their talent and musical point of view greatly and the business they have built. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with them and their incredible team worldwide,” Gold added.
