Slander, the electro house phenomenon, has been stepping into the spotlight as one of the up-and-coming producers to watch. The duo, Derek Anderson and Scott Land, have only entered the scene within the past few years, it’s hard to believe with the success they have had. From EDC 2015 and now UMF 2016, the guys are tasting the big league.
Currently Slander is on their Breathe Tour, which stops into Miami’s Ultra Music Festival before making its way to Pittsburgh. With the kickoff to the tour, the guys released a new track which was collaborated with Adam K titled “Breathe”. Since its release only a month ago, it has reached over 1.2 million plays on Soundcloud. That’s slowly catching up to their big festival trap remix of Showtek’s “We Like to Party”, on which they collaborated with NGHTMRE 2 years ago, and has over 6.5 million plays. “Breathe” brings soft melodic cords paired with the vocals from Matthew Steeper and Haliene. It is a great listen and is easily be one of their latest big tracks. Easy listen lies ahead.
Slander will be ready to embrace Diesel Club Lounge with their “heaven trap” March 24th. This will be their first stop in Pittsburgh for 2016, and these guys will be excited for more crazy performances following UMF. If you haven’t listened to any of their performances, its best you do. They are not a duo you want to pass up on. The guys love the crowd, and love the music they create. So be sure to get those trap-arms ready for some “gud” vibrations they will be putting out!
Don’t forget to see Slander perform at the #FEST April 16th along side other big artists!
