Allas! Confusion has been cleared. Producer ZHU dropped a bomb earlier in the week with the release of his latest album, GENERATIONWHY. The word “thrilled” doesn’t begin to encompass what we’re feeling. A true don of the deep house genre, expectations were high when we got wind of a new album.

“This project is all about art, and we try to make it all about the songs and the response. Being able to have everyone focus back on music is the first step. But the second is to have influence and have people care,” the artist explained, about his recent release.

GENERATIONWHY features a multitude of sounds and feels. A total of 13 tracks includes the already successful and extended mix single “Working For It” and other gems like “Numb” and “In The Morning.”

One blogger described GENERATIONWHY as the “smooth, sexy appeal of The Weeknd mixed with a hazy, electronic energy that’s all Zhu’s own.” The passion behind the music is making Zhu a force not to be reckoned with but potentially a force that could receive another Grammy nomination in 2017.
